For the girls 1st long weekend in October we went to see Papa John in Pocatello. We went to Westwood Discount as always and got all the treasures we could find. Papa John gave each of the girls $5 to spend any way they wanted. It was fun watching them figure out what was worth spending the money on or to see if they could get the most stuff for their money. A couple of them even came home with some of the money after just getting a few things.
We also went to Aunt Chrissys home and met all the other residence that were there that day. The girls had fun and the residence were even happier.
We also accompanied Papa to his "Old Timers" luncheon. It's where all the old retired Railroad workers get together ones a month and have a lunch get together and then play bingo. The girls had a really fun time, they had some Halloween candy as treats which the girls enjoyed of course and then the bingo. Kodie and Lacey were the lucky ones to each win a bingo. They got $3 ea from those wins.
The last night we were there Johns friend Rick Hammers came over to hang out and chat a bit. We don't get to see him often so it's nice when we can get together when we're in town. His wife was in Salt Lake for some Dr. appts so he was on his own.
The girls love Rick, especially Lacey. They can always get him to do something goofy when they're around. Here he is with Kodie's pink heart sunglasses on.
And we couldn't have dad miss out on the fun. Here he is modeling the same pair.
We had a great time and a safe trip but I tell ya that bed there is rough on the back so we were so glad to be home back in our own bed!

It looks like you had a wonderful time. OK ... I do not understand the draw of Bingo. It seems like all old people everywhere like to play it. I just don't understand what makes it fun?!
